Our commitment and the standard
We aim to make sessiontwin usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We target Israeli Standard IS 5568, which adopts WCAG at Level AA (the standard referenced by Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility to Service) Regulations 2013). We also track WCAG 2.1 Level AA so that we align with the European standard EN 301 549 where it applies. The exact WCAG version pinned by the current edition of IS 5568 is being confirmed — see open items.
Conformance status
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as of 30 July 2026: most requirements are met, and the specific items below are not yet met.
What conforms today (verified 30 July 2026)
- Every page declares its language (
lang="en"). - Each page has a "Skip to content" link and a single
<main>landmark. - A visible keyboard focus indicator is present on all interactive elements.
- The primary input (the mission composer) has an accessible label; the send button is labelled.
- The live mission stream is an ARIA live region, so new steps are announced to screen readers.
- Status is conveyed by text, not colour alone (e.g. "working", "completed", "refused").
- Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Fonts are self-hosted and text resizes with the browser; body-text colour contrast is well above AA (measured: primary text 18:1, secondary text 5.75:1 on the page background).

How we tested
Methods used on 30 July 2026: manual review of page structure and semantics (landmarks, headings, labels, alternative text), keyboard-operation review, and colour-contrast measurement (OKLCH design tokens converted to sRGB and evaluated against the WCAG contrast formula). Fixes were applied in code and re-verified. A formal automated scan and an assistive-technology-user pass are scheduled per the dates above.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact our accessibility coordinator: [name and email/phone — TO BE SUPPLIED BY THE OPERATOR; required by Israeli law]. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to offer the information or function in an accessible alternative where needed.
Open questions for counsel
- Confirm which WCAG version the current edition of IS 5568 requires (2.0 vs 2.1 AA).
- Confirm whether the small-business revenue exemption from IS 5568 applies to the operator, and whether an Israeli-user nexus triggers the obligation at all.
- Confirm whether the EAA (EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1 AA) applies (consumer vs. B2B; microenterprise exemption).
- Appoint and name an accessibility coordinator, as required by the 2013 Regulations.
- Confirm the remediation target dates the operator will commit to publicly.
